Thanksgiving Pizza

Makes 2 Pizzas

A Thanksgiving Eve tradition in our house. There is room to get pretty crafty here, so go crazy. When it comes to Thanksgiving flavors, I don’t believe there is a bad combination. I like this alongside a salad with pears and toasted pecans, dressed with balsamic. This year we followed up the meal with caramel pecan bars, though I’m already fantasizing about Thanksgiving Dessert Pizza for next year…

1/2 recipe Pizza Dough
For spread: Mashed Sweet Potato (with a little brown sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon)
Any (or all) of the following toppings:
Yellow Potato (thinly sliced into rounds and somewhat pre-baked, with oil, salt and pepper)
Caramalized Onions
Brussel Sprouts
Green Beans
Vegan Meat Crumbles
Whole Cranberries, or Cranberry Sauce
Chopped Mushrooms, or Mushroom Gravy
Herbs, fresh or dried: Rosemary, Thyme

Artistically assemble 2 pizzas and bake at 425* for approx. 15 minutes, until crust begins to turn golden.
